Our close friend Keith Dickey brought years of climbing and setting, thoughtfulness, and a singular perspective into his shapes.
His Stella series features deceptively simple contours, his Moses series feature elegant sandstone plates.
Keith was a big proponent of the dual-signifier concept, meaning holds showed multiple textures or styles so they could act as a junction between two series of holds on a route.
His Stella Granite Junction line combines smooth Stella knobs with Anglin Granite texture, allowing you to seamlessly and aesthetically blend your Smooth holds with your Granite. His Moses Sandstone let you transition from Sandstone style to Smooth style on the same route.
Keith's Stella Granite Large 1 - Puffy Junction Balls - are part of the IFSC T20 Olympic Catalogue.
Unfortunately in 2018 Keith passed away from cancer, but his shaper royalty will be paid to his wife and two children in perpetuity for these shapes and future shapes as we have some more of Keith's work in foam that will be released so his lines will continue to grow.
