Dylan Barks

I’m originally from Ann Arbor, MI, and now live in Salt Lake City, UT, with my fiancée, Lexi, and our Goldendoodle, Lola. As a climber of 20 years, I was thrilled to start working with Kilter/Setter Closet, a climber-run business, at the start of 2026. With a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, my main focus is anything website-related.

My climbing background was shaped in the Midwest, with humid summers spent running laps in the Madness Cave and weekend project missions to the Red River Gorge. Although I spent much of my time pursuing competitions, including competing internationally and representing the U.S. at World Cups, my foundation in outdoor climbing has always driven me to pursue my goals on rock. I am a rope climber at heart, but I enjoy movement in all forms, whether that is climbing a few feet off the ground or thinking about it from a ladder while route setting.
